This book is an account of historical events throughout the 20th century which shaped the Sikh identity as it exists now. The author has covered the incidents from the pre-independence era to the end of the 20th century. It includes Sikh leaders' contribution to the freedom struggle, the Gurudwara Reform Movement, the origin of Punjab as a separate state, the contribution of Sant Jarnail Singh Ji Bhindranwale, and the Indian military raid on Haminder Sahib in 1984, among others. The author examines these historical milestones from the Sikh perspective.
