This book describes Operation Blue Star (Saka Neela Tara in Punjabi), the code name given to Indian military action in June 1984 to remove Sant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale and his followers Sri Harmindar Sahib, Amritsar. Many Sikhs and military men died in the clash, which eventually led to the murder of then PM Indira Gandhi and the Sikh riots in Delhi.
