ਇਸ ਨਾਵਲ ਵਿਚ ਇੱਕ ਔਰਤ ਦੀ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਸਾਰਾ ਦਿਨ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਡ ਭੰਨ ਕੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਦਾ ਗੁਜਾਰਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਵੀ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਘਰ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਇੱਜਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ । ਲੇਖਕ ਨੇ ਬੜੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਪੀ, ਧੰਤੋ, ਕਿਸ਼ਨ, ਬੀਰੋ ਪਾਤਰਾਂ ਰਾਹੀ ਇਸ ਕਹਾਣੀ ਨੂੰ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ ।

The novel tells the story of a woman who breaks her bones all day to make a living but still has no respect in her home. The author has beautifully presented this story through Tapi, Dhanto, Kishan, Biro characters.
