ਇਹ ਕਿਤਾਬ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਮਹਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਸ਼ਹੀਦਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਬਾਬਾ ਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਜੀਵਨ ਕਥਾ ਹੈ| ਬਾਬਾ ਦੀਪ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ, ਭਾਈ ਮਨੀ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਬਾ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਦੇ ਸਮਕਾਲੀ ਸਨ| ਬਾਬਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਤਰੀਕਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ| ਆਪ ਨੇ ਦਮਦਮਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਮੁਖੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾਈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਬੰਦਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਹਾਦਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਜੰਗੀ ਮੁਹਿੰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਲਿਆ। ਅੰਤ 1757 ਵਿੱਚ ਉਹ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਹਰਿਮੰਦਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ ਮੁਗਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਛੁਡਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਏ।

This book illustrates the life of one of the most glorified and brave martyrs in Sikh history. Baba Deep Singh Ji was contemporary to Guru Gobind Singh ji, Bhai Mani Singh Ji, and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur among others. Baba Ji contributed to Sikhism in numerous ways. It includes writing the manuscripts of Guru Granth Sahib recited by Guru Gobind Singh Ji; serving as the head of Damadma Sahib, fighting wars with Banda Singh Bahadur, and finally getting martyred while releasing Sri Harmandir Sahib from Mughals in 1757. The story of Baba Deep Singh Ji is full of valor, sacrifice, and resistance to oppression.
